Annoucing the 2010 Fox Team Eco-Challenge! To all of our clients, keep an eye out over the next week on your door step as you receive your initial Eco-Challenge Packet. You are going to be challenged thru 2010 to lower your Carbon Footprint. To any others out there wanting to see where your Carbon Footprint lies, go to www.ecohatchery.com. Here’s how we stand up… Craig and Sara Fox Household Carbon Footprint results 67.73 Tons of Carbon Emissions/year. The National Average per household is 30.9. Individually as a single person Sara was responsible for 13.55 Tons. The National Average is 11.9. Yikes! Obviously we’re not the most environmentally sound household by any means – but we have resolved to try and make a difference in 2010! And looking at our scores you can see we at the Fox household have a LONG way to go! Currently we recycle a few items as we have time, leave the TV’s plugged in during the day, have an aged household thermometer that is at best 5 degrees off thru the year, farm and have a cattle operation, with our careers and young children we are on the road all the time and many other things which lead to those high averages. We know we can still live the life we live but can learn to live it differently and more efficiently! We will begin in our energy transformation and start taking better steps to leave a better footprint for our children and grand children for many years to come! Won’t you hop on board?
